Dogs Deserve Better of Windsor is a cage free, no kill facility located in Windsor, Maine. We are a licensed shelter
providing animals in need with a temporary respite, a place to rest, regroup, recharge, socialize, learn, and sometimes to
regain health, and then move on to their new forever homes. Our animals come from shelters and private homes. Our volunteer
staff consists of a small, dedicated group of experienced animal care handlers striving to better the lives of animals in
need. At the moment we have several dogs available, but as we grow we will also have cats and other small companion animals
as well. Please check back soon as we add information to our Petfinder page and list our animals who are ready for re-homing.
